The Highveld of South Africa, but mainly the Witwatersrand, has one of the highest lightning strike rates in the world. Healthy specimen trees in gardens are often struck by lightning, changing the aesthetics and value of a property. We can install lightning conductors into trees to help limit damage and loss of your trees. When a cable has been installed to strengthen a weak tree, we recommend a lightning conductor be installed as well.
